SEANC District 47 set aside a minimum of $250 for scholarship awards in its first year.

Historically, each SEANC district having a Scholarship Committee seeks out college applicants within the SEANC active membership family, aggressively fund raises, and then awards scholarships at both the district and state level. There are three criteria. Categogry I includes financial need. Category II is based on merit and excludes financial need. Category III is for SEANC members only. Applicants for SEANC scholarships must be enrolled at, or have applied to a recognized and accredited post secondary school, college, university, trade school, or other institution of higher learning. Applicants may not be restricted because of curriculum choice, sex, age, race, ethnic background, religious beliefs, or political affiliations. Contact the district scholarship chair (district number appears on the upper left of your membership card) or SEANC statewide office. Applications must be in by April 15 each year.
