Group Buying and Other Interesting Offers

Many hundreds of businesses have offered discounts to members of the State Employees Association. In order to obtain these discounts, please present your valid membership card at point-of-purchase. If you have the option of using a check versus the credit card, you will do the merchant a favor by using your check - they will then pay lower bank charges to process your payment.

All the business listings will be displayed on the SEANC headquarters site. To increase the businesses participating in this program, ask the owners and managers of the places you frequent to join in.

  • Massage
    • Medical Arts Massage School, Raleigh - student massages for $30 an hour-appointments call 872-6386. This is not covered by the State Health Plan, but receipts are accepted by our Flex Plan.
  • Restaurants
    • Golden Corral has been offering a free meal to all veterans of military service on Veterans' Day, November 11, or the Monday following. Persons requiring a wheelchair or walker may come in 4-5 p.m., others 5-9 p.m. The DAV co-sponsors the event.
  • State Attractions
    • North Carolina Aquariums (Pine Knoll Shores, Ft. Fisher, and Roanoke Island)
    • North Carolina State Parks -
    • North Carolina Zoo (Asheboro) - The North Carolina Zoo occasionally offers discounts or free days.
